You have candlelight and roses and she quickly informs you that because you told her the week before that she was “fat” she has sworn off all of her wifely duties. Plus size shopping is best left to the lady of your life . While you may be well meaning , try a jewelry purchase or purchase her some piece of furniture that you know she wants or if you know that she wants to collect something , then start her a collection of something that you know that she will really love. Avoid the tent clothing campaign and you may get to sleep in the same bed with your wife again , eventually.

Fuller figure women like their men to avoid the weight subject and even if you are an overweight man , it’s likely that you don’t view yourself as an overweight man. However, you might get the hint if your wife began to buy you XXXXL from Big Dog Clothing , especially if the T-shirt states in bold lettering---FEED ME because I’m ONE HUNGRY DOG. Yep, paybacks, they can give you a taste of down under.

Plus sizes and large sizes are sensitive issues , so be sensitive. If not , find a way to be silent in your gift giving. Buy a gift card and let her pick out her own plus size fashions and when that doesn’t work, then go back to chocolate. Who cares if she eats the whole box?
